I love my grandbaby

I tell you it is so hard to leave that child. When she gives the smallest smile.... gas or not.... I melt. She is such a good baby. I 'babysat' for a few hours last night while Jayme got some much needed sleep and Jerry worked on his friends car for some extra money. I LOVED IT!! I want to quit my job and just look at my little grandaughter sleep! I forgot how much I loved having babies around. I thank my lucky stars that I was able to have that 3 times in my life with Nicole, Jayme and Maria. They truely are the best things that ever happened to me in my life and I love watching them as adults, even from a distance I'm so proud of them. Now Jayme gets to start the circle with little baby Nicole. Isn't life just so great!! When I count my blessing lately, there are so many of them. God has been good to me.

OK I'm done. I just needed to voice my feelings. Everyone can stop staring at me. :)

unbelievable few days

Well yes it has been busy. see Nicole's blog for pictures of my beautiful baby grandaughter Nicole Jade. She was born Aug 1st, she was 7lbs 9oz and 18 1/2 inches long. little shorty. Dark hair and the most adorable face in the world. I can't get enough of her.

Also we have been redoing Jayme's kitchen as a surprise while she is in the hospital. She knows about us painting it from bright sky blue to the color she picked and she knows we are putting down a new floor. (I had to tell her something so she would understand us not being at the hospital 24/7. But she has no idea we are also giving her a new sink, new tiled counter top, undercounter lights, new kitchen light, new curtains, pot rack, microwave cart, hamper, stools for a new nook and redoing her old little work table. Jerry's uncle Tommy even came to help us connect the new single sink to the old plumbing of the old double sink, I never connected a garbage disposal before so I'm REALLY glad he showed up. ALL DONE NOW> we only have finishing touches and we will finally be done. Aunt Nicole is sewing curtains as I type!
